They have been described as, “R.L. Burnside and Black Sabbath jamming with Nina Simone in a burned-out rum shack, using opium for incense.”
Heavy Indie Garage Rock with strong Blues blackbone. Works well on bills with blues-rock, hard rock, garage-rock, indie rock, and heavy alternative bands.
High-energy show with a very big finale, works well as a headliner or closing act — the later in the evening the better.
Fresh alternative to usual, traditional blues / roots-rock bands. Appeals to younger audiences and fans of Black Keys, White Stripes, and other modern blues and blues-rock acts. All or partial acoustic set available upon request.

The Whiskey Shambles are based in Cincinnati, OH. They regularly do short-run tours in the Midwest and the South, as well as occasional longer tours through the US and Canada. They won the 2014 Northeast Ohio Blues Challenge, and have been chosen to represent Northeast Ohio at the 2015 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Acoustic / Small Venue Shows
The Shambles also put on a raucous acoustic show, based on venue/event requirements/requests. Nathan Singer’s solo album, “On Through the Night,” gives a good example of the style of the band’s acoustic performances.
The Whiskey Shambles are getting regular airplay on college and AAA radio stations with several songs from their second live EP, “Stumbling Toward Beale Street,” and their recently released full-length album, “Loose Change for a Broken Man.” Their music is available for streaming on Spotify, last.fm, rdio, Xbox Music, and more, as well as for purchase on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and more. They are already working on their second LP, slated for the Summer of 2015.
The Whiskey Shambles deliver a unique sound that will set your festival/event apart and help you reach new, younger audiences. 2015 travel and tour dates are filling up fast (not all bookings are on the website yet), so book now.
